FAQ's

Blue Bottle Body Care specializes in creating high quality natural body care products that we hand-blend in small batches in California, using simple ingredients. All fragrances used are from essential and natural fragrance oils and we also offer our products fragrance-free. 

Part of prioritizing our health and happiness includes that we believe in helping others and donate 1% of the proceeds of each product sold to nonprofit organizations that support young adults diagnosed with breast cancer.

Our goal is to delight you with your new made-to-order body care products.

 

PRODUCTS

Are your products cruelty-free? Yes. All of our products are cruelty-free. We make everything in house and the only animals we test our products on are ourselves, our friends, and our family members.

Are your products vegan? Most of our products are vegan. We use high quality, 100% pure beeswax sourced in the USA in our lip balm. All ingredients are listed on each product page.

Are your products safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding? Please consult with your doctor before using our products.

Do you have samples?  We offer smaller versions of some of our products that you can purchase to try out before buying a larger size. If you are unsure about a particular scent, please reach out to us for more information.

How long do your products last? 12 months. Please keep away from direct sunlight and heat. All body care products should be stored in a temperature-controlled environment.

Will extreme cold damage my new body care products? If you receive your order during wintertime where it is really cold, you should let your products sit at room temperature (68° – 75° F) to resolve any viscosity /consistency issues before using them.

 

SHIPPING

Where does Blue Bottle Body Care ship? We can ship anywhere in the United States and APO boxes at this time.  As we grow, we will expand our shipments to worldwide.

When will my order ship? Items will typically be shipped within 3-5 business days from when they are ordered. All orders are made fresh to order and still have a 3-5 day manufacturing lead time, separate from projected shipping times. Please note that our products are handmade-to-order in small batches.

Do you offer free shipping? Yes. We offer free shipping on US orders over $55. For orders with a value of less than $55, the flat rate for shipping is $8.00. We use USPS Priority Mail and USPS First Class Mail.

How do I track my package? For questions regarding orders that have already shipped, please reference your USPS tracking number. Once an order leaves our hands, it enters the domain of USPS, and the order is no longer in our care or control. If you have concerns about late or lost packages, please email us at support@bluebottlebodycare.com as we like to be kept in the loop. Ultimately, delivery issues must be taken up and resolved with USPS.

I think my order is lost? Orders are shipped to the address provided. Orders shipped to incorrect addresses will not be reshipped or refunded. Orders are shipped from our making locations at 27742 Vista del Lago, Mission Viejo, CA 92692 and 136 Trellis Lane, Irvine, CA 92620.

What should I do if my package is stolen? If your package is stolen and marked as delivered, the issue must be filed with USPS. To submit a report for theft of a package with a Tracking Number, select “Where is my package?” to complete the form.

What should I do if my package arrives with damaged product? Please contact us at support@bluebottlebodycare.com with photos of the damage within 24 hours of receiving your package. We will do all that we can to make it right.

 

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

Unopened Blue Bottle Body Care products can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of the original purchase date. In the interest of preventing possible product contamination, we will only accept returns of unopened original shipping packages. Upon the receipt and confirmation of a returned package, a full credit card refund will be issued. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for each refund to be processed.

Please contact us by phone or email in order to cancel an order. If the order has not yet shipped, a credit card refund will be immediately submitted. For orders that have already shipped, we ask that you return the unopened package to us, at which time we will submit a credit card refund. For cancellations of orders that have already shipped, shipping charges will not be refunded.

Please read the ingredients carefully and know your allergies. Test a small patch of skin with a product and wait 24 hours. If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use.  Please email us with concerns at support@bluebottlebodycare.com.  If you find yourself unhappy with a product, please contact us and we will do our best to work it out.

All payments are due at checkout via Credit Card. We also offer Afterpay so you can pay in installments over a period of time. We so appreciate your business, friends!
